Storage Solutions for House and Office
Army Ants can offer a wide range of short and long term container storage solutions to suit all needs and budgets, whether
you are a private removals customer looking to store furniture or a business with a host of office equipment. And no matter what you need storing, we guarantee that we will not be beaten on price!
We work closely with the specialist storage company A1 Self Storage, a member of the SSA (Self Storage Association). Their storage premises are fully secure, alarmed and covered by 24hr external and internal CCTV so you can be assured that your possessions will remain safe until you are ready to receive them again. We can even offer you additional storage insurance plans should you want even more peace
of mind.
When we initially bring your goods into storage, whether short or long term, we will carefully wrap and pack each item before placing them into our removal containers. We always use highly padded blankets for extra protection to make sure everything you store remains in perfect condition.
Each container measures approx. 7' high (220cm) 7' deep (220cm) x 5' wide (150 cm), which equates to 250cu.ft of space. As a guide a normal 2/3 bedroom house would utilize approx 3-5 containers. Your move coordinator would confirm the number you will require when visiting your property. Each container will also be numbered and categorised to ensure efficient management when in storage.
Once your possessions are safely packed in their containers they are carefully loaded onto our
fully equipped vehicle by our special lift vans and then transported to our storage facility.
Upon
arrival at storage your containers are then carefully removed from our vehicle and taken to their
dedicated space within the storage depot. This approach to loading containers is highly beneficial
as it means there is no 'double handling' of your items.
When you are ready to receive your possessions we simply arrange to deliver them back to you at
your convenience.
